Michael Moyer
Michael “Mike” Moyer is the founder of Custom Fit DJ. As couples begin the booking process, Mike is often their first point of contact, helping shape the vision and flow of each event. With a background in high-end hospitality and years of nightlife DJ experience, the transition into weddings and private events was a natural fit.
Known for his wide-ranging musical knowledge and ability to read a room, Mike tailors each event to the client rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach. His appreciation for music is rooted in decades of listening and live experiences, from major festivals like Coachella to countless concerts across genres. For couples with eclectic taste—or those who want a DJ who understands how to build a night from start to finish—Mike brings both expertise and intention to every event.
Jordan
Jordan built his foundation as a DJ in Kansas City, performing at weddings, nightlife venues, and private events where reading the room and delivering high-energy sets mattered. As his reputation grew, he became one of the city’s go-to DJs before relocating west to continue expanding his craft.
Jordan now DJs at some of the area’s top venues while bringing the same versatility and confidence to weddings and private events. Known for his ability to balance polished flow with high-energy moments, he adapts easily to different crowds and styles. Outside of DJing, Jordan is also a trained chef with a culinary degree—so whether it’s music or food, he understands how to build an experience people remember.
DJ Matt
Matt began DJing in New Mexico in the 1990s and has spent decades building a wide-ranging skill set across weddings, private events, and live music environments. His experience spans DJ performance, live concert audio, and broader audiovisual production, giving him a strong technical foundation behind every event he works.
In addition to DJing, Matt sings and plays keyboard in a funk band and is a true music enthusiast, with a personal record collection numbering in the tens of thousands. Known for his musical intuition and love of getting people on the dance floor, Matt brings energy, versatility, and a deep respect for music to every wedding he’s part of. Outside of events, he enjoys time with his partner, their dogs, and tending to what might be the coolest cactus garden in town.
Ryan
Ryan began DJing in California, building a strong foundation in electronic music while developing an artistic approach to mixing and crowd energy. Alongside his work in nightlife, he has DJed hundreds of weddings and private events, bringing versatility and confidence to a wide range of settings.
Known for his upbeat presence and natural ability to connect with guests, Ryan’s background includes working as a Disney character—an experience that shows in his engaging, positive approach on the mic and behind the decks. Outside of events, he enjoys spending time with his wife Emily, who often joins him as an assistant and photo booth tech, helping ensure events run smoothly from start to finish.
Justin
Justin is our Northern Arizona–based DJ, bringing extensive wedding experience along with a strong artistic and production background. His technical skill, musical versatility, and attention to detail have made him a highly sought-after DJ for weddings and private events throughout the region.
With a polished setup and an engaging, approachable presence, Justin focuses on creating an atmosphere that feels seamless, energetic, and memorable for both couples and their guests. Outside of events, he enjoys spending time with his wife and their five kids, keeping family at the center of everything he does.
Zach
Zach has been DJing since college and brings a high level of enthusiasm and versatility to every event. In addition to weddings and private events, he performs artistically in a variety of settings and has experience DJing events for a wide range of ages and crowds.
With formal MC training and a background in management and hospitality, Zach is especially well-suited for weddings where smooth flow and clear communication matter. An Arizona native, he brings a warm, professional presence to every event and enjoys spending his free time with his girlfriend when he’s not behind the decks.
Kate
Kate brings over 20 years of business management experience across corporate, automotive, startup, nonprofit, agribusiness, and event planning environments. With a background in copywriting and editing, she also spent several years writing music reviews and artist bios in Phoenix, giving her a strong blend of organizational skill and creative communication.
As part of the Custom Fit DJ team, Kate supports client and venue relations, helping ensure communication stays clear, details are handled smoothly, and events stay on track behind the scenes. Her experience across multiple industries allows her to anticipate needs, solve problems proactively, and support both clients and vendors throughout the planning process.
George
George leads the visual storytelling side of Custom Fit DJ, with a background in graphic and web design and a strong focus on videography. He specializes in capturing and creating short-form video content that highlights the energy, emotion, and unique moments of each event.
George’s videography services are available as an add-on and can include custom reels, branded visuals, and other creative elements that extend the experience beyond the event itself. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his kids, catching the latest movies, and unwinding with a game of chess.
Axel
Axel began his DJ career in Kansas City, where he not only performed at a wide range of events but also managed a team of DJs, gaining valuable leadership and event-planning experience. After relocating west, he continued building his reputation as a versatile, client-focused DJ.
With a background in music production and experience performing at venues like the Walter Warehouse, Axel brings a strong technical foundation and an intuitive ability to read the room. Whether the goal is hip hop, electronic, sing-alongs, or high-energy party tracks, he adapts seamlessly to the style and direction each client envisions.
